Strange card combinations in last night’s tarot reading, any thoughts?

Last night I tried a new tarot app for the first time, doing a three-card spread late at night. The cards I pulled were quite intriguing and unusual in combination. The first card was the King of Cups reversed, which got me wondering about emotional imbalance or hidden feelings. Then I drew the Ace of Swords, which seemed to sharply contradict the mood from the first card—clarity and new ideas versus confusion. Lastly, the Four of Wands showed up, which usually signals celebration or stability. Has anyone else seen a mix like this? How do you interpret a reversed king paired with such a pointed ace?

I’ve seen some weird combos but this one sounds pretty clear to me. King of Cups reversed often means being emotionally off-kilter, or maybe hiding your true feelings. The Ace of Swords is about cutting through that confusion, gaining clarity. Four of Wands feels like the end goal, something stable or positive after the chaos. Looks like a messy start but a good finish. Funny you mention the reversed card and an ace contradicting each other—that’s pretty common, a tension between emotion and intellect.

yea that combo sounds like feelings all over the place but some kind of breakthrough coming. i pulled a reversed king once and it felt like someone wasn’t telling the truth to themselves, so maybe that fits?
