Is It Normal for Psychics to Provide Vague Answers Initially?
I’ve been learning tarot for a while and also like to get readings now and then, usually chat ones. Last week I tried a new app and had a 15-minute session. At first, I noticed the psychic’s answers were pretty vague—not much detail and felt like they were feeling things out. But then after the 7-minute mark or so, the details came through clearer and more specific.
Is this a common experience? I’m wondering if psychics generally start that way to get comfortable or if it’s a red flag. I’m still pretty new to app readings so curious how others handle it or if you ask for clarification during the reading itself?

Thanks for sharing this! I’m quite new and honestly didn’t know if vague means bad or normal. You said the psychic started with answers that were “pretty vague—not much detail and felt like they were feeling things out.” Is that typical for beginners too or should a more experienced psychic give clear stuff right away?
Also, is it okay to interrupt and ask for more info? I’m worried it might seem rude but I want value if I’m paying. My first chat reading last week was 10 minutes and most of it felt like guessing to me.

I think your experience isn’t unusual at all. Sometimes, psychics start with broad impressions and then the cards or energies get clearer as the session goes on. It’s a bit like warming up or tuning into your vibe better. When I do readings, I usually pull a preliminary spread to set context before going into details.
Regarding your question about asking for clarification, I always encourage that. A good psychic should welcome questions and help you understand their messages better.
