Is IntuiTarot app’s free trial really no strings attached?

hi all, i jumped on the IntuiTarot app last weekend to try out their free trial, thinking it would be a no-brainer to see if the chat readings worked for me. but after just a 5-minute session, i saw my card balance drop, which made me kinda nervous. it was supposed to be free, right? has anyone else noticed this or am i missing something? wondering if their “free trial” is legit or if it’s more of a trap before you commit to paying.

any insights appreciated!

oh, i got on IntuiTarot a couple of weeks back! the free trial felt genuine to me, though i did keep a close eye on my balance. i think what might’ve happened is that sometimes the app deducts a small amount as a sort of deposit or activation fee, but then it refunds it or applies it towards a paid reading later.

it helped me get meaningful guidance when i used a reader named Marta. maybe check if your trial period ended before the deduction?

free trial or not, always check the terms before tapping anything. if your balance dropped, then it’s not actually free.

about that “free trial” claim—was there clear info on what free means exactly? like, some apps say free but only the first minute or allow one question only before starting charges.

it’d be good to see any screenshots or the fine print you read, autumn-lantern. i’m always dubious when a balance drops after a ‘free’ anything without a clear explanation.

thanks for the replies! i didn’t catch anything about a deposit or activation fee, salt-teacup. i’ll look again to see if that was in the terms somewhere tiny.

gardener.max88, yeah, i guess i should’ve read the fine print better. it’s just weird because the app advertised the first 10 mins as free but it didn’t feel that way.

velvet_sparrow23, i don’t have a screenshot unfortunately, but the terms were on the signup page—small text as usual. maybe the app started charging as soon as the chat began and just called it a trial. i’m more cautious about apps like this now. i might try contacting their support to ask what happened exactly before i go any further.
